The Challenge
iTalk and its sister companies are operating internationally, with teams that span not only time zones, but continents. They needed a comprehensive HCM platform that could be accessed globally, as well as customer service that was accessible when they needed it. They also needed a team that was equipped to handle California’s nuanced and ever-changing labor laws & HCM requirements.
iTalk tried a few big name HCM providers, but none could handle their unique needs:
- Customizations - iTalk was assured that the other solutions would be able to handle the customizations they needed, but none of the solutions actually functioned correctly, causing stress, waste of time & lack of efficiency.
- Real Support - With other providers, the iTalk team was constantly frustrated and felt unsupported when they tried to reach out for help. It was impossible to connect with a real person, and when they did, rarely were the reps able to solve iTalk’s challenges.
- Reporting - iTalk needed some unique reporting insights to evaluate specific data and review historic data. With other providers, reports had to be manually created, requiring a lot of tedious work from the iTalk team, and a custom reporting solution could not be implemented.
- 401(k) Integration - Because of external 401(k) management, iTalk had to manually manage and input the same information into multiple platforms, creating additional lack of efficiency and human errors. They needed their 401(k) integrated with the rest of their workforce management tools.
